The First International Interdisciplinary Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Technopolis City of Athens

We are pleased to inform you that the main event of the conference Me and AI: Human Concerns Artificial Minds, organized by the NKUA Applied Philosophy Research Laboratoty with the joint effort of the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society,  will be held in the renovated Gasholder 1 -Amphitheatre "Miltiadis Evert" of Technopolis City of Athens (Peiraios 100 str.) in March 30 and 31, 2020. The Gasholder 1 -Amphitheatre "Miltiadis Evert" (Amphitheatre R/S Athina 989) has a capacity of 300 seats and it can be found in the Gasholder 1. Its renovation had finished by 2020 so today this Amphitheatre is considered as one of the most fully equipped conference room of the capital. 

On April 1st and 2nd workshops will be held in the Innovathens during the ASF 2020. 

*Technopolis City of Athens has housed in the old gasworks plant of Athens, a unique industrial monument, transformed into the most vibrant cultural multispace in the heart of the city. Simultaneously Technopolis City of Athens has managed to preserve the historical remembrance of the area due to the The Industrial Gas Museum in Technopolis City of Athens, which was inaugurated in 2013 aiming at promoting the old gasworks plant, which used to provide energy and light to the capital for almost 130 years.  This unique monument of industrial heritage is the only one to have maintained its entire mechanical equipment in situ.

The first interdisciplinary conference on Artificial and Augmented Intelligence, organized by the Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, with the joint effort of the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society. The objective of the conference is to highlight issues related to the Ethical, Legal, Political, Social and Financial aspects of the implementation of cutting-edge intelligence technologies in everyday life.
