The Applied Philosophy Research Laboratory of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), with the support of the Hellenic Artificial Intelligence Society, is organizing the first interdisciplinary conference on Artificial and Augmented Intelligence and the ways in which it is expected to affect us in the immediate as well as the remote future.
The objective of the conference is to highlight issues related to the Ethical, Legal, Political, Social and Financial aspects of the implementation of cutting-edge intelligence technologies in everyday life.
The main event will be held at Technopolis City of Athens (Pireos str. 100, 118 54, Athens, Greece).

The conference is addressed to the whole spectrum of the academic community directly or indirectly related to Artificial Intelligence and its effects, at a humanitarian and social level, through scientific fields such as: Technical Studies and Information Technology, Ethics and Practical Philosophy, Law, Social and Humanities studies, Health etc.
At the same time, the conference is addressed to the broader, non-specialist public interested in developments in IT, as well as to professionals working on programs or promoting applications in this field, who are faced with daily dilemmas related to the subject of their work.
